A MAN has appeared in court charged with 37 counts of child abuse.

Reginald Pinhorne, 69, of Fishbourne Road West, Chichester is accused of possessing indecent images of children, voyeurism and rape.

He appeared at Portsmouth Crown Court yesterday. Pinhorne is yet to enter a plea.

The case was adjourned for the defence to consider papers. He was released on conditional bail and will reappear on Friday, September 6 at Portsmouth Crown Court.
