A TEENAGER who flouted a community order has been given a conditional discharge.

Daniel Hedgeland, from Lonsdale Avenue, Fareham, had denied committing the offence by failing twice to turn up for unpaid work.

But the 18-year-old was found guilty by Portsmouth Magistrates.

Hedgeland was sentenced for the original offence of possessing class A drug cocaine in Guildhall Walk, Landport, Portsmouth, on March 30. He was given a six-month conditional discharge.
