The BBC has been criticised after sacking a journalist who spent most of a 12-year jail term in the city.

Colleagues of Panorama reporter Raphael Rowe were ‘incredulous’, the National Union of Journalists said.

He was wrongfully jailed for murder and languished in Kingston Prison, Portsmouth.
