TWO men have appeared in court charged with handling stolen goods.

Dominic Davis, 20, of Queens Road, Portsmouth, and Liam Elston, 26, of Ashley Close, Leigh Park, pleaded guilty to a charge of handling stolen speakers worth £180 in Palmerston Road, Southsea, on October 20.

Davis was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work in the next year.

He must also pay £60 to a fund for victims of crime and £85 in court costs.

Meanwhile Elston was sentenced to 28 days in jail by Fareham magistrates.
