Patrols after pig head is tied to school's gates

PATROLS are being put on near the Muslim school where a severed pig's head was attached to its gates.

Hampshire police said officers are carrying out reassurance patrols near the Madani Academy in Landport after the hate crime.

It comes after the head was seen on CCTV being cable-tied to the gates last Wednesday evening. Teachers, parents and pupils were horrified to discover the head as they arrived to the school on Thursday morning at 8.30am.
