AN ELDERLY cyclist has died following a collision with a car in Curdridge.

William Logan, 70, from Eastleigh, was seriously injured in the crash with an Audi A3, which happened at 1.15pm yesterday on the A334, near Reading Room Lane.

Mr Logan was taken to Southampton General Hospital, where he later died.

Police are appealing for witnesses to call Eastleigh Police Station on 101.
