Pensioner injured after queue-jumper throws tub of butter at her in Co-op supermarket '“ NATIONALÂ

A pensioner was left with an injured lip after a queue-jumper threw a tub of butter at her.Â

The incident happened at the Co-op supermarket on the High Street, Eynsham, Oxfordshire at around 12.40pm on Sunday, October 21. 

The victim, a 74-year-old woman, was standing in line when the offender pushed in front of her in the queue.

She told the man that people were queuing and the offender threw a tub of butter at her.

The victim suffered swelling and severe bruising to her lip, however she did not require hospital treatment.

Police have released a CCTV image of a man officers would like to speak to as part of their investigation. 

Investigating officer PC Sarah Tibble based at Witney police station said: '˜I would like to speak to anyone who recognises the man in this image as he might have vital information relating to this incident.
