A PENSIONER has been tricked into handing over her bank card and PIN.
The 95-year-old woman, from Lee-on-the-Solent, received a call from someone pretending to be from her bank on September 28.
She was told that they were recalling credit cards with certain numbers, one of which was hers.
Several days later she received another call telling her a courier would come to her home to collect her card.
A man collected the card and asked for her PIN number as he said it was no longer of use to her.
She gave it to him and he left. Police say £200 was later removed from her account.
PC Jason Bishop said: ‘Your bank, or the police, will never cold call you or email you to ask for your full login details, cards or PINs.
‘If anyone does you should hang up the phone or delete the email.’
Call police on 101.
