The 43-year-old, of Paulsgrove, said: ‘I just couldn’t believe what I was seeing. There were police with guns all over the street. It was really frightening.’

Ewelina Dalek, 19, lives in Kingston Road and was in the block of flats where the police raid was taking place.

She said: ‘The police had guns and dogs and were shouting to the man saying they would kick the door down.

‘There is a big problem with drugs. I don’t feel safe to walk my dog sometimes.’

Ewelina’s boyfriend Jack Fitzjohn said the raid lasted for about five minutes before police led a man out in handcuffs.

‘I could hear the police shouting and telling someone to out their hands behind their back,’ added the 19-year-old.
