POLICE have launched an appeal for help in finding a teenager who has not been seen since leaving home 10 days ago.

Chloe Collins was last seen leaving her home in Beech Road, Fareham, on the evening of April 4, and hasn’t been seen since.

The 14-year-old is described as white, about 5ft tall, has long dark-coloured curly hair and wears glasses.

Detectives believe she may be staying with friends in the Basingstoke area but have been unable to contact her.

Police have only now released details after carrying out extensive enquiries in a bid to find her.

Detective Inspector Andy Symes said: ‘We have been carrying out extensive enquiries in both the Fareham and Basingstoke areas to find out where Chloe is and where she has been staying.

‘I would appeal to anyone who knows where Chloe is or has seen her since April 4 to contact police as soon as possible.

‘I would also like to appeal direct to Chloe to contact us.’

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Fareham Police Station on 101 or call the Crimestoppers line anonymously on 0800 555111.
