Police are renewing an appeal for information after a burglary at a house in Gosport.

Someone broke into the property in Carlton Road between 8am on Friday and 8pm on Sunday.

Jewellery including gold and silver rings, and a black Nintendo DSI were reported stolen.

Police are appealing again for witnesses to anyone acting suspiciously in the area over the weekend or anyone trying to sell on various gold and silver rings.

Detectives are also giving crime prevention advice and have reminded residents to consider using timer switches for lights when their homes are empty.
