Man arrested in Portsmouth explosives probe at Stanhope Road student block is released by police

Officers have issued a missing person appeal for a 29-year-old Waterlooville man.

Christopher Richards, 29, of Orsmond Close was last seen at 11.30am on Wednesday, September 24.

He is described as skinny, 5ft 7ins tall, with mousey-coloured short hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap, a black jacket with fur inside, a white jumper and black tracksuit bottoms with blue stripes down the side.

PC Michael Kutner said: ‘It is believed that Christopher caught a bus to Portsmouth on the September 24.

‘He has not been seen since. If you see him, or know where he is, please contact us straight away on 101.’

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the duty sergeant at Waterlooville Police Station on 101 or call the charity Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.
