A POLICE chief is heading for new shores after 30 years’ service.

Assistant Chief Constable Robin Smith is leaving Sussex Police after 30 years to become the Commissioner of Police for the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force. 

He said: ‘It’s been an enormous honour and a privilege to work with many great people, partners and communities throughout my career.’
