Police hunt cyclist spotted riding on the M27 during weekend closure
A POLICE probe has been launched after a man was spotted cycling on a closed section of the M27.
A video of the man came to light on social media, showing him riding on the highway while it was closed for works between junctions 3 and 4 in Romsey over the weekend.
The video was shared on Twitter by BBC Radio Solent.
Hampshire police last night said it was investigating.
A 58-mile diversion was in place for traffic travelling westbound during the closure.
