Second man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after Portsmouth incident

BURGLARS stole electrical goods in a break-in.

Police believe the burglary at a flat in Jessie Road, Southsea, happened between 2pm and midnight on January 20.

However the incident was not reported until last Saturday.

Thieves stole a Sony Playstation 3 with two controllers, a Hewlett Packard laptop, a Nokia mobile phone, Apple iPod Touch, CDs and DVDs.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Toby Wilson, of Portsmouth CID, said: ‘Police are appealing for witnesses to this burglary, which took place in a busy residential street between 2pm and midnight on January 20. Have you seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area of Jessie Road and Devonshire Square?’
