THREE men are being sought by police in connection with the theft of thousands of pounds of jewellery.

Police have released these CCTV images of two of the men, related to the burglary in Lee Ground, Whiteley, last Wednesday.

The crooks got into the home between 11.30am and noon by forcing a uPVC window out of its casing.

Once inside they stole necklaces, bracelets, watches and earrings.

All three suspects are white, and the first was stocky, with blond or brown short curly hair and facial hair, He wore a grey hooded top and sport tracksuit bottoms with stripes down the side.

The second was slim with short brown curly hair, and wore a white shirt and blue jumper with grey trousers.

The third had brown hair, a blue and white striped top and light blue jeans.

PC Richard Jones from the Winchester priority crime team said: ‘We’ve got some good quality images of the suspects which we’re releasing to the public in the hope someone recognises them or saw them in the area at the time. It might be that they were looking at similar properties or called at homes in the neighbourhood.’
