A MIDDLE-AGED man was robbed as he walked alone through a park.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the attack close to Nyetimber Lane, Bognor Regis, last Thursday.

It happened as the man, who is in his 50s, was walking through Avisford Park at around 9pm. Two men grabbed him and threatened him, before stealing £500. He suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident.

The first suspect was white, about 5ft 8in, of medium build, with defined arm muscles.

He wore a black hoody.

The second male was also white but shorter and slimmer than the first male.

He wore a silver and grey camouflage jacket with a hood.
