Police investigating serious assault in Southsea release CCTV images of group they wish to identify

Police investigating a serious assault at a pub in Southsea have released new CCTV images.Â

Officers have released further images of a group of people they would like to identify as part of their enquiries. 

The assault happened on Festing Road, near to the Festing Pub, in Southsea on Saturday (August 18).

Police were called at 11.38pm to reports that a fight had taken place between two groups of people some time between 11.15pm and 11.35pm. 

A man in his 30s had suffered serious and potentially life-changing injuries during the incident.

He was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains at this time.

The two groups of people had moved on from the area prior to police arrival.

Police are appealing for the identities of all the people pictured, as they may have information to assist our enquiries.
