A body was discovered on Saturday (November 3) evening  in woodland off of Cemetery Road. 

It is believed to have been that of a 66-year-old man who had not been seen since 6.30am on Thursday, November 1.

Formal identification has not yet taken place.

The man's next of kin has been informed a body has been found and are being supported by specialist officers.

Seven people were arrested in connection with the man's death.

Six people have since been released from custody but remain under investigation and officers have been granted extra time to question a 34-year-old man.

Detective Chief Inspector Dave Morgan said: '˜We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity of Cemetery Road and who may have seen something unusual or suspicious between 12am on Thursday 1 November and 5pm on Saturday 3 November.

'˜Additionally, we would like hear from anyone who may have information that might assist this investigation.
