A 17-YEAR-OLD girl bravely fought off an attacker.

The girl was walking along Cosham High Street when she got chatting to a man and they went to the Red Lion pub.

After leaving she was followed by the man to King George V playing fields where she was assaulted. The girl managed to fight him off and ran away unscathed. The man was black, in his 30s or 40s, about 5ft 7ins tall, wearing dark clothes, and had a strong accent. He had a black tooth next to his front teeth. The attack happened between 9.40pm and 10.30pm on Wednesday. Call 101.
