Police probe link between two burglaries

POLICE are looking for witnesses to two burglaries in Petersfield.

The first was in Love Lane, at some time between 11.30am and 5.30pm. The second was in Pulens Lane between 2pm and 4.15pm. Neither of the houses was occupied at the time on February 2.

Police believe the burglaries may be linked.

Jewellery and money were removed from the first home. Laptops, a PlayStation 3, an XBox, a flat-screen TV, computer games, money and jewellery were taken from the second house.

PC Leana Warwick, from the Alton targeted patrol team, said: ‘We believe these two burglaries may be linked and would like to hear from anyone that has any information that can help us.

‘I’d particularly like to hear from anyone who saw a light blue four-door small hatchback car with three men inside, possibly an L registration, in the area in the early afternoon on February 2.’
