POLICE officers are hunting for two men who forced their way in to a flat and demanded money from the occupants.

Detectives have issued an e-fit image of a man they would like to speak to following a burglary in Bishops Waltham.

Two men forced their way into a flat in The Hawthorns, in Marlow Road.

The men demanded money from the occupants – a man and a woman in their 20s – before leaving the address.

The incident happened shortly before 9.30pm on Wednesday, May 29.

Hampshire Constabulary has released descriptions of the two men, and also one e-fit picture.

One of the suspects had his face covered.

The other has been described as having fair hair and was wearing a grey hoodie.

Detective Sergeant Paul Southey, of Hampshire Constabulary, is appealing for anyone with information, or witnesses to come forward.

He said: ‘Do you recognise the man pictured in the e-fit image?

‘If so we would like to hear from you.

‘I’d also like to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything in the area that may assist our investigation.

‘Did you see any people or vehicles that seemed suspicious?’

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Winchester CID by phoning 101.

Information can be given anonymously by calling the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
