A MAN arrested after a taxi driver was stabbed has been released.

Hampshire police said a 20-year-old held on suspicion of wounding with intent after the stabbing remains under investigation.

The 42-year-old victim was attacked after he tried to stop three youths damaging cars in Albert Road, Southsea, at 3.15am on Saturday.
