Police renew appeal for missing Hampshire woman Melanie Hayman as relatives grow increasingly worried
ANOTHER photo of a missing woman has been released by police as her relatives grow increasingly concerned for her welfare.
Melanie Hayman, aged 40, was last seen leaving her home on Park Road, Chandlers Ford, at some time after 8am on Thursday, 29 July.
Police have been conducted enquiries in the area today and they renewed their appeal for help this evening (Saturday).
They have also been also carrying out enquiries in the Kings Worthy area, where she has connections.
Sergeant Kev Hercock said: ‘We, along with Melanie’s family, continue to grow increasingly concerned for her safety.
‘We would like to repeat our earlier appeal and ask anyone who thinks they have seen Melanie since she went missing, or anyone who thinks they may know where she is, to call us immediately.
‘I would also like to thank the communities of Chandlers Ford and Kings Worthy for their support and understanding while we are carrying out enquiries and would urge them to contact us if they have any information whatsoever that could help us find Melanie.’
Melanie is described as white, approximately 5ft 2ins, of slim build and with brown hair half way down her back.
It’s believed she may be wearing white trainers with a flash of pink on them and carrying a black Adidas rucksack.
