POLICE are appealing to local hotels and taxi drivers in the area as they search for a missing woman from Fareham.

Officers are trying to find Katharine Lisa Blakey, 42, who went missing from her Gordon Road home.

The last confirmed sighting of Katharine was at home on Tuesday morning.

This is not the first time Katharine has been reported missing.

Police say she has been known to stay in hotels and guest houses on previous occasions.

Officers are appealing directly to Katharine or anyone who has seen her to make contact with police or her family to confirm she is safe and well.

Police are appealing particularly to hoteliers, guest house staff and taxi drivers in and around the Fareham, Portsmouth and Southampton areas.

Katharine Blakey is described as white, 5ft 2ins tall, of a heavy build with shoulder length straight blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing a red waterproof jacket, a burgundy roll neck jumper, black trousers and black ankle high boots.
