POLICE are searching for a driver after a man was left injured in a hit-and-run incident in Havant.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the road traffic collision which left a cyclist with injuries.

Shortly before 7am on Wednesday, the cyclist, a 33-year-old local man, was left with injuries to his shoulder, arm and wrist as a result of a collision with a silver Peugeot on the roundabout at the junction of Petersfield Road.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Peugeot, possibly a 2 or 3 series model, failed to stop.
