Police trying to trace two men in connection with stabbing in Somers Town

POLICE investigating a stabbing in Somers Town are trying to trace two men who could help with their investigation.

Last Friday night at around 8.30pm, two men were found in Somers Road with stab wounds and detectives are now looking for two men seen running away from the scene at the time of the assault.

They were both mixed race/black, in their 20s and wearing tracksuits.

A 50-year-old victim received life-threatening injuries while the second victim, aged 31, sustained serious injuries.

A 35-year-old woman, from Portsmouth, and a 26-year-old woman, from Southsea, were arrested in connection with the incident. They have both been bailed until April 26.

A police spokesman said: ‘We’d like to hear from the two men who were seen running away from the area or anyone who either witnessed the assault or saw the two men running away from Somers Road.’
