Police urge people to lock up their metal gates
PEOPLE are being urged to lock up their metal gates by police after a spate of thefts.
PC Scott Graham said: ‘We have received numerous reports of metal gates being stolen. If you have metal gates, please ensure they are secured and fitted. A bicycle chain and padlock will deter opportunist thieves.’
