Police warn public not to approach wanted man
POLICE are looking for a Portsmouth man who has breached his court bail conditions.
Officers are asking the public to help them find Scott Jeffree who on Friday breached his bail conditions by failing to reside at the address set by the court and intimidating witnesses.
He has not been seen since.
Jeffree, 38, is next due at Portsmouth Magistrates Court on August 10 accused of criminal damage. His bail conditions were set to last until that date by the same court at a previous hearing on July 14.
Police believe that he is in the Paulsgrove area.
He is 6ft 1in tall, with short brown hair and blue eyes.
Detective Inspector Martin Chudley said: ‘Scott was released by the court with strict bail conditions. He has breached these conditions and therefore needs to be detained so that this can be addressed by the court.
‘We also need to speak to Scott in relation to a number of other investigations including a public order offence and criminal damage.
‘If you see Scott or know where he is, please do not approach him, but contact us as soon as possible.’
