DOG food thief James Iles has been given a community order by magistrates.

Iles, of East Street, Portchester, admitted stealing 69p of dog food from a Co-op in Portchester.

He also pleaded guilty to a separate charge of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour.

The 37-year-old was given a community order stating that he must be under supervision for year by Portchester magistrates. No order for costs was made.
