DRINK-DRIVER Stephen Kelly has been banned from getting behind the wheel.

He pleaded guilty to driving a Citroen Saxo in West Street, Portchester, after drinking too much when he appeared at Fareham Magistrates’ Court.

A test revealed his breath contained 94 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.The legal limit is 35mg.

Kelly, from Dore Avenue, Portchester, was fined £200.

The 21-year-old was ordered to pay £85 in court costs and £15 to a fund for victims of crime.

He was banned from driving for two years.

The ban could be reduced by six months on the condition that he pays up to £250 to complete a government-approved driving course by October 20, 2013.
