A MAN thought to be a would-be burglar was disturbed in a back garden before he could break into a home.

The man, who looked as if he was in his 20s, was spotted in the back garden of a building in Langley Road, Buckland, Portsmouth, last Friday afternoon, and the police were called.

Details have only just been revealed by police.

Officers say this incident comes after another burglary was reported at the same address earlier last month.

Inquiries are ongoing to establish what was stolen from the property in the first incident, which is believed to have taken place between Saturday, January 14 and Friday, January 27.

The suspect in the latest burglary attempt was white, skinny, and wearing jeans and trainers.
