BEER thief Christopher Oliver has been told to do 40 hours of unpaid work.

The 23-year-old stole £25 of lager from a Co-op store in Southsea.

At the time he had a conditional discharge for a previous offence of breaking into a car.

Oliver, of Tunstall Road, Wymering, pleaded guilty to theft when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.
