MAGISTRATES have ordered a man who broke into a pub to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work.

Kevin McCall stole three televisions, a juke box, alcohol and cash from the Connaught Arms in Guildford Road, Fratton.

McCall, of Berkshire Close, Landport, changed his plea to guilty before the start of his trial at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

He was sentenced to four months in jail suspended for a year.

McCall, 28, was given a year to carry out the community service and told to pay £85 costs.
