Portsmouth chocolate thief jailed for 12 weeks
THIEF Tommy Peters has been jailed for 12 weeks.
He pleaded guilty to six counts of theft from Co-op shops in Portsmouth on various dates in January.
Peters, 54, of Waverley Road, Southsea, also admitted two counts of failing to surrender to custody.

Hide AdHe took £40 of sweets, £150 worth of Mini Eggs, £155 of chocolate bars, 240 Creme Eggs worth £156, a leg of lamb and 17 toothbrushes worth £63 and £140 of Creme Eggs on another day. City magistrates ordered him to pay £120 compensation and £50 prosecution costs.
