A THIEF caught stealing while out of prison on licence has been sent back to jail.

Michael Johnson, from Wymering Lane, Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to stealing lager worth £11.68 from the Co-op in St James’s Road, Southsea.

The 28-year-old was sentenced to 19 days in jail by magistrates in Portsmouth.
