A WOMAN who was caught drink-driving on Christmas Day has been banned from the roads for three years.

Katherine Ballingall, 40, was stopped in Alec Rose Lane, Portsmouth.

A breathalyser test revealed she had 67 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath – almost twice the legal limit of 35 microgrammes.

Ballingall, of Thorncroft Road, Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to drink-driving when she appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

She was fined £150 with £100 in costs.
