A DRINK-DRIVER who was more than twice the limit has been banned from the roads for a year.

Bryn Davies was stopped by the police as he drove a Ford Fiesta in Lennox Road South, Southsea.

A breathalyser test showed he had 90 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

Davies, of Auckland Road East, pleaded guilty to drink-driving when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

The 21-year-old was fined £110 with £100 in costs.
