Second man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after Portsmouth incident

DRIVER Gary Solomon was caught behind the wheel while almost three times the legal alcohol limit.

The 32-year-old admitted driving a VW Golf in Winchester Road, Wickham on April 17.

Solomon, of Rochford Road, Paulsgrove, Portsmouth, also admitted assaulting a police officer in Wickham that day.

He was banned from driving for two years and told to pay £50 compensation to PC Martin Jones by Fareham magistrates. He was also ordered to do 120 hours of unpaid work.
