A MOTORIST caught without a full licence or any insurance has been banned from the roads.

James Grantham was caught speeding on the M27 west bound, near junction 10, in a Vauxhall Vectra. Police pulled the 24-year-old over and checks on his licence revealed he was not insured.

Grantham, of Leominster Road, Paulsgrove, did not turn up to Fareham Magistrates’ Court to enter any pleas to charges of driving without insurance, driving not in accordance with a licence and speeding.

Magistrates found him guilty of all three charges in his absence. He was fined £450, told to pay £50 in costs and banned from diving for six months.
