MOTORIST Stacy Winter was caught behind the wheel while almost twice the drink-drive limit.

Winter admitted driving a Toyota Rav 4 in Northern Road, Cosham, after drinking too much on August 30.

A test revealed her breath contained 71 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35mg.

Winter, 37, of First Avenue, Farlington, was told to pay £400 in a fine and costs by Portsmouth magistrates.

Magistrates banned Winter from driving for 18 months. But the ban could be reduced by four months if she pays to complete a government-approved driving course.
