A DRUG addict has been told she could be given a chance to go straight.

Elizabeth Hoare was arrested for stealing £100 of clothes from Next at Cascades shopping centre in Portsmouth.

Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court heard she had a history of offending to fund her drug habit.

Hoare, 40, of Lindisfarne Close, Cosham, admitted theft. Her sentencing was adjourned to assess whether she can go into rehab.
