MAGISTRATES have fined a man for being drunk and disorderly in public.

Steven Thorpe from Mablethorpe Road, Wymering, Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to committing the offence in London Road, North End, Portsmouth, on March 22. The 21-year-old was fined £100.

He must also pay £15 to a fund for crime victims.

Portsmouth magistrates ordered Thorpe not to leave the court until the session ended. No order for costs was made.
