PORTSMOUTH magistrates have ordered thief Jason Lightbody to get help for his drink problem.

The 31-year-old, of Kingston Road, Portsmouth, admitted stealing cider from Tesco in Albert Road, Southsea.

He was put under supervision for six months and told to take part in eight alcohol intervention treatment sessions.
