A MAN has admitted possessing cocaine.

Matthew Diffet, 23, of Chelmsford Road, Portsmouth, admitted having the class A drug on him in Hereford Road, Southsea.

He was told to pay £350 in a fine and costs.

Portsmouth magistrates made an order for the drugs to be forfeited and destroyed under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
