A HOMELESS man who was caught begging has been told to pay £35.

Roy Ransom was arrested in Laburnum Grove, North End, Portsmouth on August 21.

The 40-year-old pleaded guilty to begging when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

The magistrates fined him £20 and ordered him to pay £15 in costs.
