A TEENAGER has been fined after he was caught with cannabis.

Samuel Wilkie, 19, was arrested after police found him with a small amount of the drug in Randolph Road, North End, Portsmouth, on August 3.

Wilkie, of Battenburg Avenue, North End, pleaded guilty to possessing the class B drug when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

He was given two weeks to pay a £50 fine and £65 in costs. The court ordered that the drugs should be destroyed.
