A MAN has denied exposing himself to a group of children who were playing in a park.

Marco Deluca is alleged to have approached a group of youngsters, aged 10 to 13, at the Stamshaw recreation ground, in Stamshaw, Portsmouth, on May 15.

It is alleged he spoke to the group of boys and girls before exposing himself.

Deluca was arrested nearby a short time later after one of the children dialled 999.

Deluca, 48, of Hawthorn Crescent, Cosham, pleaded not guilty to a charge of exposure when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

District Judge Anne Arnold said the offence was too serious to be heard at the magistrates’ court and sent it to the crown court.

Deluca was released on bail to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court in August
