AN INQUEST into the death of a 33-year-old man found he died from the misuse of drugs.

Steven Smith, who died in January this year, was found in his flat at Tipton House, Portsmouth.

David Horsley, coroner for Portsmouth, concluded that Mr Smith had died from the misuse of drugs after fatal levels of amphetamine and methadone were found in his blood.

Mr Smith was a recovering heroin addict and had been clean since September 2012.
