A MAN caught producing cannabis at his home has been ordered to do 80 hours of unpaid work.

Mitchell Swaine, 38, of Holland Road, Southsea, admitted producing 16 plants of the class B drug at his address.

Swaine must pay £60 to a fund for victims of crime and £50 in court costs.

Portsmouth magistrates made an order for the cannabis to be destroyed.
